Recipes Made With Beer

Do you ever cook with beer? You should! It adds a wonderfully tangy taste to dishes. We cook a lot with to make things like brats and bread. But there are plenty of great recipes I’ve come across that use it as well. Here are a few:

Woman Drinking Beer

Beef in Beer and Onions
Beer paired with beer makes for a really wonderful taste. It works with hamburger, sloppy joe mixes, and with beef. This recipe is great during the winter months, especially on a football Sunday.

Irish Stout and Beef Stew
This stew is so hearty and yummy I know your family will love it. It takes some time, so do on a weekend when you’ve got a few extra hours and you won’t regret it. It makes a lot so you eat it for lunch and dinner during the week. The stout is tangy and rich at the same time.

Cheddar and Beer Soup
You know how soup sometimes needs to cook for several hours in order to get that really great depth of flavor? This recipe actually pulls off that deep flavor in just an hour. It’s wonderful. Especially with the beer bread recipe that follows.

Basil Beer Bread
If you thought beer bread was boring, think again! Just adding a little basil makes it taste like one of those breads you’d spend quite a few dollars on in the store. I like that this recipe uses yeast and beer – makes it especially light. Great for sopping up soup.
