Renoir Pictures from an Estate Sale

Last weekend we were on our way to pick someone up for church when I spotted an “Estate Sale” sign. I think once you go to rummage and estate sales enough, you begin to look for these types of signs on the side of the road. I took in a breath and went, “Oh…. estate sale!” My husband saw that we were about ten minutes early for our destination. Turns out ten minutes was all we needed.
A quick browse through the house and I spotted these framed and matted Renoir prints for just $5 each. I love impressionist art, and these pictures happened to go perfectly with the decor in our family room. I had a spot I’d been wanting to find something for, and darn if these pictures didn’t fit the bill perfectly! Funny how that works out sometimes.
One thing to note about estate sales, is that sometimes people think a rummage and an estate sale is the same thing. (It isn’t.) So you might see a sign for an estate sale when in fact it’s a regular old rummage sale. As it was, this particular sale was the genuine kind, and we got a great deal for our home. Who could argue with that?
